Boiled Bacon Dressing

4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 teas salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
Fry bacon slowly until crisp, set aside. In saucepan put sugar, salt, and cornstarch, add water, bacon and fat and remaining ingredients. Cook until desired thickness
